Stud bolts, hex bolts and nuts with a PTFE-based Xylan 1070 or Xylan 1424 fluoropolymer coating – low friction, consistent torque and corrosion protection for flanged joints.

Xylan 1070 is the general-purpose PTFE coating for fasteners: a dry-film lubricant that gives a repeatable friction factor at tightening and protects the thread against corrosion. Xylan 1424 is the thicker fluoropolymer system for harsher service.
Coated bolting is applied in-house on our own stud bolts and on hex bolts and nuts from stock. For the highest corrosion resistance we also offer TAKECOAT-1000, for which HBS is Europe's only authorized supplier.
