Grade 4 cleaning.
Grade 4 is the standard cleanroom level in the Generic Standard of ASML (GSA): parts free of visible contamination and larger particles, cleaned and packed so they stay clean until assembly. We clean stainless steel and titanium parts to Grade 4, verify them and deliver them vacuum-packed with a cleanliness certificate.

- When is Grade 4 enough?
- When your specification calls for the standard cleanroom level – typically for cleanroom assembly outside the most critical zones. For vacuum and in-machine semiconductor parts, Grade 2 is typical.
- How does HBS verify Grade 4 cleanliness?
- By visual inspection, particle measurement and RGA / outgassing analysis before the cleanliness certificate is issued. Parts are vacuum-packed per 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 and traceable to their lot.
- How fast can HBS deliver Grade 4 cleaned parts?
- EPK parts from stock in 3–4 weeks including cleaning; your own stainless steel or titanium parts in 2–3 weeks.
